Why Visit Corn Mazes?
Today is #NationalFarmersDay a day when we thank farmers for the so often thankless job they perform. At Union Colony Insurance, we insure many farms, dairies, farm equipment, livestock, crops, and love our farming community.
We know the risks that are taken by our farmers and their daily sacrifice to put food on the table for not only their own family but for our entire country and world.
Our hearts break when we have a summer like ours when the hail comes, damages to crops come with it. Millions of dollars are lost in revenue for our farmers.
For some farmers, their dependence on agritourism, or tourism to agriculture sites, becomes even more necessary for them. There are many farms in the Northern Colorado area that participate in agritourism and fall is one of the best times to visit a local farm.
Thank a farmer by visiting their farm and participating in their events or attractions. Here’s a list of Northern Colorado farming attractions for your convenience.
